Atomic Heart has been grabbing players’ attention for a couple of years now. It is an ambitious FPS and RPG hybrid developed by Mundfish that looks too good to be true. It mixes Bioshock, Fallout, and Far Cry in an alternate universe where the USSR is leading the world’s science with robotics inventions. The game has been in development for a long time, but after teaming up with publisher Focus Entertainment, the game is set to release on February 21, 2023.

Resident Evil 4 Remake – 03.24

Beloved by many gamers, Resident Evil 4 was announced in June to receive a game remake in March 24th, 2023. A highly-anticipated modern take on one of the most iconic survival horror games is promising to preserve “the essence of the original”. With that being said, modernized gameplay, a “reimagined” storyline, and the best graphics of the RE engine sound more like another amazing game.

Assasin’s Creed Mirage – TBA

The newest upcoming Assasin’s Creed game will be taking the players to the 9th century Baghdad, the capital of Irak. The game is promised to be smaller than previous entries and instead of being an open-world RPG, be a narrative-driven adventure. This surely sounds very similar to the original Assasin’s Creed Games and seems to pay homage to them with new modern features and mechanics.

Minecraft Legends – TBA

Looking like a mix between StarCraft and Minecraft, Minecraft Legends is the latest game from Mojang and Microsoft. It is an action strategy spinoff game from the original decade-old Minecraft. Its story revolves around the Overworld and Nether war, with Piglins trying to take over the new lands. Game was revealed at E3 2022, the game seems to bring yet an unseen curve of learning and strategy into the world of cubes.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 – TBA

The gritty and not-so-pretty visuals of the Stalker series are one of the reasons why it got so popular. And with the use of Unreal Engine 5, the upcoming entry seems to be the most visually impressive so far. The game was promised to release on 2nd December 2022 but was delayed due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – as the game studio is based in Kiyv. Hopefully, The Exclusion Zone will successfully release the next year!

Starfield – TBA

Bethesda’s first new IP in over 20 years, Starfield is supposed to be an open-world RPG set in space. And Bethesda has been working on the game for years already. The first gameplay shown at the E3 2022 seems to be worth the wait – yet many are skeptical after the terrible launch of Fallout 76. With 1000+ planets and deep customization, the game sure sounds impressive but knowing how Bethesda treats the players, many are concerned about how the game will look.

CD Project RED games – TBA

The Witcher Polaris – the start of a new AAA RPG Trilogy. The Witcher Sirius – multiplayer experience with procedural landscapes. The Witcher Canis Majoris – being developed by an external studio with the help of the veteran developers of the original Witcher games. And finally, Cyberpunk 2077 Orion – a new entry into the dark universe of Cyberpunk that promises to prove the whole potential of the series. There is very little detail about every game but these might be the following games of the years!
